1886: The Enterprise Milling Co. was organized by L. R. Reed, a practical miller of many years' experience. The mill was fitted with the latest and most improved machinery, manufacturing a high grade product. It was well situated fro shipping its products abroad with a location on the railroad to permit loading and unloading of cars at the door on its own switch. [OIl City newspaper?]
